Eating a big breakfast, heavy in carbs, is the key to keeping slim, according to new research.
A new study found that women who eat half of their daily first thing in the morning lose more weight in the long term than those who start the day with a small breakfast.

And they are also less likely to pile the pounds back on.

Dr. Daniela Jakubowicz, from the Hospital de Clinicas in Caracas, Venezuela, who led the study, said: “A very low carbohydrate exacerbates the craving for carbohydrates and slows metabolism.

New Study Finds Amount of Exercise Needed for Weight Loss

According to a new study, published on the leading medical journal Archives of Internal Medicine, the amount of exercise needed for weight loss have been found to be 55 minutes a day for 5 days a week. This represents an increase form previous recommendations that were set at 30 min a day for a total of 150 min a week.

Currently medical personnel, nutritionist, and exercise experts suggest exercising at least 5 times a day for 30 minutes.

The holidays are a time of year when many of us have to loosen our belt buckles just a bit, attempting to satisfy our expanding waistlines. It’s not our fault; the pumpkin pie, the chocolate fudge, and the buttered yams all sit smugly on the dinner table, daring us to take a bite: yes, we are practically being force fed. Wine Calories might add up quickly!

When drinking wine most people don’t think of in wine. At least among my friends we never talk about it or are concerned if that might affect our goals. When eating I’m usually pretty good at making sure that I wouldn’t overeat but when drinking I never pay attention if my consumption is going up or not. Maybe it is that I’m just having such a great time that I just don’t want to think about it.

So, the question still remains how many are in wine?
