Tags: , , ,

I certainly noticed that I have started taking vitamins, at least until they wore off last night and then in minutes I went from focused and alert to wanting to crawl into bed and sleep for hours.

That is a good thing, though. Rather than feeling tired and unfocused all day, I was awake and fairly focused for most of the day after the vitamins kicked in. And I slept good. Did not wake up until 9am, but that is an improvement. For a couple days before that I was waking at 6am, but before that it was sleep until after noon.

Can I Still Workout With Sore Muscles?

While allowing your muscles time to rest and recover after training is critical, there appears to be very little evidence that workout out when your muscles are still sore will cause additional damage or impede strength or muscle gains.

In fact, many people report anecdotal improvements in symptoms of DOMS after performing additional bouts of exercise in subsequent days.

Hitting a plateau

Tags: , ,

Weight loss is never easy. We always want the weight to come off fast, despite how long it took us to gain those extra pounds. At some point we all go through a sort of stagnant period or hit a plateau. It’s usually when we have our goal weight in sight, and only have those last 5 or 10lbs to go.
