It’s nice to meet you again 160’s!

by admin on March 8, 2010

So, I’ve managed to stay under 170 for 3 days in a row! It’s not a big loss, but I am sitting happy at 169.2 today. Especially since the weekend involved plenty of temptation.
Friday I worked my butt off before I went out. Total of 80 minutes, and I threw a lot of kickboxing into my cardio. I got what I was planning on for dinner, citrus grilled chicken which came with 3 sides, and I picked veggies (ended up being just broccoli), side salad w viniagrette, and my splurge item, sweet potato fries which were totally worth it. I had one drink that I made myself with rum and crystal light, and then probably the equivalent of one more drink which was mixed tastes of different things. I am pretty sure I burned off the alcohol with the dancing we did after dinner anyway. So Friday was a success. Here I am (middle back of the photo) with some of my favorite ladies!

Saturday morning I did a quick 20 minute workout before I had to get ready to leave. Then we headed downtown and did at least 2 miles of walking around, and I took lots of pics of the buildings and random things. By the time I got home, my butt and legs were killing me. Saturday’s eats weren’t great, because we ate out for lunch at the Jerk Hut (I had plantains, rice&beans, and veggies), and then my parents invited us over for dinner, which I handled ok, having a light salad, one piece of garlic bread with light butter, and one piece of lasagna (a miracle, because I always get 2 pieces of her lasagna!).

Yesterday was alright, pretty boring, and I didn’t work out because I was still so sore. I did eat too much nuts and chocolate AGAIN last night, ugh. But at least dinner was super light, so I don’t think I did too much damage.

Today is another new day, and I’m trying to stay motivated! I don’t want to see the 170s again, so hopefully I can keep up a good flow and at least lose a couple more pounds until Jamaica.

I leave you with some pics from Tampa.
