Sorry about being gone for a couple of days without a word, I haven’t been well. I have itchy spots all over me, i’ve been super tired and i’ve had an upset stomach [from the download area]. I didn’t lose my appetite though, funnily enough! I haven’t been naughty, i just haven’t burnt anything off

So, to try to make up for the past 2 days inactivity, today i did a walk we call ‘The hill walk’. It’s an hours walk and uphill for 40mins of that. Probably just a little heart rate raiser for a skinny pinny. But for a fatty like me it’s a workout & a half! There are stopping points along the way to catch my breath. And then i say to the kids, “Ok, i’m going for the big tree/power box/brown letterbox etc. Don’t talk to me coz i won’t be able to answer” lol I was actually a bit surprised at how well i did, considering. If i had of done the hill when i first started this new life, in January, i’d be gasping air like i’d found a new lung every 20 feet or so.
Seen as i like the boxing on Wii Sport so much, i signed up for boxing lessons on Thursday. Something i NEVER imagined i’d do, in my wildest dreams! I’d never even given Boxing a second thought until i watched The Contender [Australia] last year,and really began to appreciate the sport. Before that, my idea of enjoying sport was playing pool at the pub and watching the Bledisloe cup [union rugby] once a year on tele.
Wanna see something funny? I accidentally found on eBay [while looking for a bra] bum maximiser’s. In this world where fat is considered a disgusting disease, Is it possible that a big bum is becoming the new black?

Here’s what i ate today:
Breakfast: Meusli with extra dried fruit and coffee.
Lunch: Mince & pasta with ratatoule + a Nestle hazelnut coffee.
Dinner: Fish fillet with salad & a Pepsi Max
Snacks: A cheese and beetroot sandwich [wholemeal bread]
I have used 1860 out of my net daily budget of 2000 calories and have 140 calories remaining. 21% of the calories are from fat, 20% from protein, 59% from carbs and 0% from alcohol.
I’ve had 6 glasses of water and walked for an hour.
Today’s Triumph: Well it didn’t happen today, it happened yesterday. But i need to share it coz it was funny, brave and instinctive. I tripped in a hole in the yard that the dog had dug. You know how when things like that happen, time seems to slow down? Well in a split second i could kinda tell that the way i tripped, i was going to really hurt my ankle. So i did a weird sort of commando roll. It was soooo funny! Shame i was the only one around to see it. In fact, i’m sure it wasn’t really as awesome as it seemed in my head, but it felt it. Either way, i know it was my new found bit of fitness that stopped me from just going down like a ton of bricks, spraining my ankle
