Educated Poppy Seeds

…And my theory was correct. Apparently it doesn’t matter if you stay under your your calorie limit, you have to stay under the fat limit to lose weight. And the fat content should be 25-30 % of the calorie intake. The last couple of days I’ve been over that. Yesterday i gained and today i stayed the same. Ok, i can work with that.
Today my fat was within range but my calories were over by 108. Let’s see what the scale does tomorrow?
I read a lot about how fat works today. If i can learn about how my body works with this stuff, then i can better educated choices. I’m not bothered that i gained yesterday, nor that i stayed the same today. Because i want to be healthy and i have lived healthily during that time. The weight loss is a side effect of living healthy and learning how to make better, healthy choices along the way. I want to understand fat so i can eliminate it easier :o )

Here’s what i ate today:
Breakfast: Ratatouille with low fat mince and wholemeal pasta. Skinny, decaf coffee with 1 sugar.
Lunch: Garden salad with chicken breast, cup of skim milk & a navel orange.
Dinner: 2 [low fat] sausages, mashed potato, peas and a corn cob. Weight Watchers caramel ice cream sundae
Snack: 10 sesame & poppy seed crackers with 1/2 a cup of light cottage cheese.

I have used 2108 out of my net daily budget of 2000 calories and have -108 calories remaining. 28% of the calories are from fat, 26% from protein, 46% from carbs and 0% from alcohol.
I walked for 30 mins and done 10 mins on the cross trainer. I had 4 glasses of water.

Today’s Triumph: I was quite sluggish and tired today and just felt “nibbly” all day. But i didn’t nibble [except for the crackers], i was very good!
