A Bite Of This & A Nibble Of That..

by admin on March 16, 2010

Today was one of those nibbley days where you just want to eat everything but you aren’t hungry, y’know?
I did mostly ok till dinner, when we had hot chip sandwiches & battered fish for dinner. But i still went over quite reasonably on my calories and fat – I can [and will] balance that out tomorrow.

Most of today was spent at Jasons school, talking about his inability to deal with conflict. He gets upset [sad] easily when he feels he’s being mis-treated. [dunno where he gets it, we are all a bunch of larakins!] Lucky he goes to a tiny school with 12 kids. But he’s in year 4 and i worry that if he doesn’t ‘toughen up’ he’ll get eaten at high school!

Here’s what i ate today: [If i can fit it all on one post]
Breakfast: 2 x buttered wholemeal toast with an egg & baked beans. A buttered hot crossed bun and coffee.
Lunch: Garden salad + 2 x full fat coffee. 9 little crackers with cottage cheese.
Dinner: 2 x hot chip sandwiches and 3 cocktail fish pieces + Coke Zero.
Snack: lite buttered popcorn and a Coke Zero.
[Do you think i had enough carbs???]
I have used 2383 out of my net daily budget of 2000 calories and have -383 calories remaining. 35% of the calories are from fat, 18% from protein, 47% from carbs and 0% from alcohol.
I did 15 minutes of boxing. I’m really going to have to do better with the exercise! :o /

Here’s some pics of the ‘Blair witch’ walk. Here’s me pretending to look fit & healthy-ish.

I took Jason with me [someone had to take the photos!] We both had to stop half way ’round for a pee. As soon as we started walking again, we heard sirens getting closer. I said, “Oh no, we just pee’d in a nature reserve and that’s illegal. They are coming to arrest us!” And Jason started running…
I said “What, are you going to leave me here to get arrested by myself?!?” And he yelled back, “I sure am!!”…Well great. I know not to get Jason involved in any illegal activities i may or may not be interested in, in the future! lol

Here’s me after madly chasing after him [walking, semi-briskly, in a chubby dash], up that incline…

It was a good walk [really it was] and i’ll definatly put it on my ‘To do’ list :o )
